It knows what colour it is
Photograph a scrap and ScrapPup suggests its colours for you, strongest first. Tap to accept, swap the primary, or rename anything in your own words. It runs on your phone, so it still works in the shop with one bar of signal.
A mottled batik comes back as one confident blue, not four near-identical ones. A solid comes back as one colour. And you get words you’d actually search for — cream, sage, rust, periwinkle — not hex codes. Spot a thin gold thread it missed? Tap it to add it.
